Short Story :)

Recently we were all assigned to write a short story. It could be anywhere from eight to fifteen pages maybe even longer. Getting the plot and the characters was very easy for me. Also knowing how I wanted the story to end was very easy to create as well. But actually getting the story to the ending point was a completely different story. Unfortunately I did not create the final plot twist until after I had already wrote then entire first half of the story. It seemed every plot twist did not correspond with the previous pages of my story. In this case I knew I would have to go back and rewrite a majority of the story. In one night I managed to create an entire new story the only thing that remained the same was two of the characters names. That was hard work. Literally I sat at the computer for about three hours straight. Then took about an hour break to call my friend and get her advice on my plot twist. I couldn't write a story with a bad plot twist because then the story would be worthless. After talking to her I sat down and wrote for about another four hours. A seven hour story that should have only taken me a few minutes to write. I was surprised because usually I right fast under pressure. Also I usually write better. I can only hope my fellow classmates will enjoy the final product as much as I do.
